Empty Langstroth Medium Super in American Pine - Linseed Oil Finish

This Empty Medium Super is a shorter box assembled in high-quality American pine, perfect for increasing the hive's honey storage capacity, with an added linseed oil finish applied to the entire exterior wood surface.

Linseed oil is a natural, traditional beekeeping treatment used for generations to protect hive wood without chemical paints. It penetrates deep into the pine fibers, sealing the pores and providing resistance to rain, moisture, and UV rays, while enhancing the wood's natural grain with a warm, golden tone. Unlike conventional paint, it doesn't chip or require frequent sanding, and maintenance simply involves reapplying a coat every one to two years.

This medium super is sold empty (no frames, cover, or bottom board included), ideal for beekeepers looking to expand their hive's honey production capacity without adding excessive weight to the structure, since its shorter height makes handling easier during harvest.
